  1. Border terriers are the most wonderful dogs. They generally get along with all dogs…in fact when being shown, they are the only terrier breed not allowed to spar. I have had many and they are great little dogs…hardy and playful but also very relaxed. One of mine who lived to be 18, had actually never barked…they are yappy like some small breeds.
